Food INC 6-Session Training Incubator

A 6-sessions over 3 weeks (4 hours each day on the dates below) to help food operators finalize their recipes, go-to market and launch their business.

Meetings on April 10th & 11th, 24th & 25th, May 2nd & 3rd; each session
Classroom time for everyone is 2-4pm
Hands-on kitchen work is 4-6pm OR 6-8pm (2 separate groups)

Located at Miracle Plum Shared-use Commercial Kitchen, 600 Wilson St, Santa Rosa and the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber, 50 Old Courthouse Square, Ste 110. You must be able to attend the full sessions to join!

IN THIS INCUBATOR PARTICIPANTS WILL:

  • Perfect their product in a state-of-the-art kitchen
  • Receive expert guidance from experienced chef instructors
  • Participate in a final event to present their product and receive feedback
  • NOTE: This course includes ServSafe California Food Protection Manager Training and Certificate at an additional cost

FORMAT:
ALL participants will have class time of 2-4pm
Kitchen time will be EITHER 4-6pm OR 6-8pm depending on your group

Meet the Team

Shawn Walker-Smith graduated from California Culinary Academy, with a degree in baking and pastry. Shawn owned and operated a made-to-order baking business – TART! Oakland.

Mani Niall is a chef, baker and entrepreneur, founder of two successful bakery-cafes, former Executive Chef for national wholesaler Just Desserts and author of four cookbooks.
