If you are a Sonoma Business looking for loans or investment, then this four-week funding accelerator is for you.
Join the Sonoma SBDC’s Master Instructor, Paul Bozzo, for a four week intensive training that prepares you for either bank or investor lending.
This in-depth preparation of funding and investment includes:
- Participating in group working sessions to create your startup budget
- Building out your financial statements
- Getting pitch-perfect with your funding pitch
Participants will have the opportunity to meet funders for a one-of-a-kind Q&A session.
Participants receive one-on-one mentorship, attend group sessions, and connect with the investment community.
What to Expect
- 4 weeks of accelerated funding preparation
- Ongoing support from an assigned advisor to each business
- Insider opportunity to connect with the funding community
- Expert coaching and support throughout
This 4 week training will take place over four Wednesdays, from 5/17/23 to 6/7/23 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
You must APPLY to participate in this intensive training.
To be considered, you must meet the following four criteria:
- Currently own or are in the process of starting a business in Sonoma County;
- Be a Sonoma SBDC client (not a client? Register now to be a Sonoma SBDC client);
- Have either completed the Sonoma County PitchFest OR have a pitch deck that you can submit for approval (we will reach out to you after you register on how and where to submit your pitch deck);
- Have access to a computer or laptop and basic understanding of technology including zoom, google docs, and spreadsheets.

About the Instructor
Sonoma SBDC Business Advisor Paul Bozzo has over 25 years of professional experience in start-up strategy, business planning, angel/VC financing, SBA lending and crowdfunding.
Paul’s specialty is working with entrepreneurial ventures to refine their business model, create an investment-driven business plan and prepare an effective funding pitch.
He also advises CEOs and founding teams on these common start-up issues: legal entity selection, equity financing structures, financial forecasting and exit strategies.
