ServSafe for Managers – Certification Training & Test

This full-day workshop provides the official ServSafe Food Safety Manager Training required by California law for food establishments. Whether you’re running a restaurant, food truck, or catering business, this certification is essential to ensure food safety and meet health department regulations.

Led by a certified ServSafe instructor, the course covers being a certified Food Safety Manager and prepares you for the Servsafe exam (included):

  • Foodborne illness and prevention
  • Safe food handling and preparation
  • Cleaning and sanitizing procedures
  • Time and temperature control
  • Personal hygiene
  • Regulatory compliance

The day includes six hours of training followed by the official 2-hour ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. You may choose to take EITHER the print or online version of the exam. If taking the online version, you must bring your own laptop.
  2. Prepare in Advance (Required for First-Time Examinees)
  3. If this is your first time taking the Food Safety Manager exam, you are strongly encouraged to begin studying at least 2 weeks in advance.

COST: $149.00 (includes class and certification exam)

PAYMENT / REGISTRATION:

Eventbrite (payment link). (Eventbrite adds a non-refundable processing fee that is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.)

RETESTING:

In the event you do not pass the test, you have the option to attend our next class (next quarter) for $35 or, if you need before then, then you’ll have the option to pay an additional $75 for a one-on-one test administration.

REFUNDS:

Eventbrite refunds will only be granted if we receive notification by midnight of the night before (i.e. 8/25 at 11:59 PM), less Eventbrite’s non-refundable cancellation processing fee.

9:00 AM: Class begins

Lunch will not be provided; however, there are many wonderful area restaurants and quick-fare options nearby.

3:00 PM Test begins (Online test option is available, but you must bring your own laptop. Physical text exams forms are included.)
