About Me:

Louise Dawson comes from a family of hospitality entrepreneurs who have owned wineries, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and breweries. Following the family tradition, Louise owned and operated two restaurants in the North Bay and a large catering company that specialized in providing services to the movie industry.

In 2019, she launched the Restaurant Program for the Norcal SBDC where she assembled a team of 16 top industry experts and developed over a hundred hospitality specific webinars and workshops. Louise has experience in other industries also, she was the Director of Operations for Receivership Specialists, and would operate businesses from multiple industries while they were under superior court ordered receivership.

She is a small business advocate who was given a congressional award for her work with small businesses from Nancy Pelosi. Louise is looking forward to her new role as Director of the Sonoma SBDC.
