About Me:

In 2017, Sallie dove head first into the deep end of the pool to realize the long time dream of entrepreneurship and co-founded Miracle Plum, with collaborator and business partner, Gwen Gunheim. This endeavor was created as a love letter to food, and encompassed a neighborhood market and wine shop, women-lead commissary kitchen space, workshops and events and ecommerce site. Additionally, she co managed the refurbishing and branding of a 100+ year old former tire shop in Santa Rosa’s historic Railroad Square.

Prior to that work, she was the Admissions Director for 9 years at a local K-12 school and biodynamic farm, where she did marketing and outreach, public engagement, and worked with a dynamic staff and yearly served over 294 students, and their families.

Though the Miracle Plum brick and mortar location closed at the end of 2022, the brand lives on with an ecommerce platform and commissary kitchen. The two founders are Sonoma County natural wine pioneers with a wine club, and both offer wine, food and business consulting.
