NxLevel Orientation: Intro to 11-Week Entrepreneurship Training

NxLevel is a program that is designed to help existing entrepreneurs reach their next level of success, help start-up entrepreneurs get started on the right foot, and develop a comprehensive business plan to change to current market conditions and guide future growth.

For existing businesses or preparing to launch start-ups! This intensive course is a great opportunity for businesses to plan how they are operating and reconsider their future path, or for ready-to-launch entrepreneurs get started.

NxLevel™ is the nation’s largest and most effective entrepreneurial training network, with more than 300,000 graduates and more than 7,500 certified instructors. In Napa and Sonoma Counties, over 700 business owners have participated in NxLevel since 1998; and classes are held twice a year. Mike Basayne

Presenter Michael Basayne,

holds an MBA in Business Planning and Performance/Finance, and has a background in banking, consulting, and government, with focus on agriculture, the wine industry, and real estate. Mike holds degrees and certification in business and finance from St. Mary’s College, U.C. Berkeley, and University of Washington and he currently teaches various workshops through the SBDC and Napa Valley College.

He is a strong advocate of staying engaged and embracing continuous improvement to enhance one’s skills. His banking career began in agriculture and then expanded to venues in commercial, corporate and investment banking. Mike’s activities included supporting California’s wine growing regions, where he worked with grape growers, engaging in vineyard development and winery operations. As a consultant he developed succession and transition plans for families, which included business valuation, construction, project management, and performance planning. As a former and current Napa City and County government official, Mike collaborated to make land use decisions that promote good stewardship, conservation easements, watershed and open space protection.
