About Me:

Dr. David Chen is the owner of a small business for real estate services and property management. As a board member of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Coalition of the North Bay (AAPI-NB), David is actively involved in the AAPI community. He is a board member of the Santa Rosa Chinese Christian Church, and a chorus member of the Redwood Empire Chinese Association. David is also the President of Skyhawk United, a grass-root organization of residents in the Skyhawk and Eastlake community in northeast Santa Rosa with 500+ households.

After receiving his Ph.D. degree in computer engineering, David was in the data networking industry for over 15 years holding various positions from software designer, Director of systems engineering, to Vice President of marketing in a multinational company. He moved to Santa Rosa in 2000. David and his wife have two adult children and one grandchild. David is bilingual and speaks Mandarin.
