About Me:

Laurie O’Hara is an entrepreneur, founder and CEO of OLITA, a brand of eco-friendly, healthy sun care products. In market since 2015, Laurie has grown OLITA from its original Beach Be Gone body powder, introducing a new product category to the market, and then expanding to a full line of clean sun care. OLITA’s mission is to create clean products that are safe on people and planet. Prior to launching OLITA, Laurie had over 20 years’ experience in marketing and business development of financial services, having worked as a Director at JPMorgan Chase and Citibank in New York City and later a Bay Area CDFI microlender. She holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA from the University of Colorado. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. Her advising specialties are in startups, access to capital, ecommerce and marketing.
